Layers

You can find the layers in the left part of the timeline when the display is vertical, and at the top of the timeline when the display is horizontal.

In the top bar menu , tap on to hide the timeline and on to show the timeline.

To add a new layer, tap on on the timeline, then on Add layer.

Add a layer by tapping on the drawing, video, audio, transformation, or group icon.

There are 5 types of layers:

The drawing layer is the basic layer on which you can draw your animation.

The video layer is a layer in which you can import videos.

The audio layer is a layer in which you can import, record, and edit audio.

The transformation layer allows you to use keyframes and curves to quickly animate the content of drawing layers.

The group layer allows you to nest other layers inside of it and create a hierarchy to better manage your load of layers.

The name of the current layer is located at the top of the timeline, on the left in horizontal mode. Double-tap on it to rename it.

Drag up the upper part of the timeline to show more layers.

In horizontal mode, drag the left part of the timeline.

To display the layer pile in fullscreen, tap on in the timeline, then on Display layers.

Tap on to paste a prevously copied layer from the same shot, or from another shot.

Tap on to select all the layers at the first level of hierarchy. One more tap will deselect them.

To move a layer drag it up or down the pile, the orange rectangle indicates where you can drop it.

Swipe from left to right to select one or multiple layers, which turn orange. Tap anywhere in the layer pile to deselect.
