Export to Toon Boom Harmony

In the export tab of the settings, set the type as Sequence and the format as JSON.

Choose the option “ToonBoom Harmony“, then tap on Export and save in your Files.

This export is limited to what can be imported in the targeted program.
The following information will not be imported: audio layer, video layer, palettes, brushes.

Make sure that your layers all have different names. Two identical names will cause an error while importing in the targeted program.

Move your exported file to your computer.

Unzip the file.

Launch Toon Boom Harmony and create a new scene with the correct resolution.
Remember if the field of view is set as Vertical or Horizontal (useful when you import transformation layers).

Delete the layer Drawing after opening the scene to avoid identical names in case there is a layer named Drawing in the exported shot.

Download the following script (CallipegImportToHarmony.js):

To run the import script, go to Windows > Script Editor.

Click on the menu icon at the top-left of the window and choose File > Import Script.

Choose the downloaded import script “CallipegImportToHarmony.js”.

Choose to save the script in User and click on Save.

Select the new script “CallipegImportToHarmony.js” and click on the menu and choose Play/Debug > Run.

In the new popup select “CallipegImport” on the right side and click on OK.

Then choose the “data” file in the exported unzipped folder.

If your Callipeg shot contains a transformation layer, choose the corresponding field of view.
The field of view was set at the creation of the scene in Harmony.

Your Callipeg file is now imported in Toon Boom Harmony.

If you encounter errors, make sure there is no identical layer names.
